Part # for hood lift support on Monaco

Any one out there by chance ever replaced the rear hood support struts on a 95 Monaco Dynasty ? The only thing I have found on the cylinder body is the brand name ( Suspa ) . Any one have a part number ? Thanks in advance !

Look very carefully, maybe the markings will show as a faint shaded area. It usually has a number and the last numbers are in reference to lbs of pressure. The length closed and extended could help locate the correct size, but pressure is important. One supplier of the rods is RV Designer.com (I believe that was where I found information )Hope this helps. Good Luck

Determine the open length and psi rating, as said above it is on the cylinder. Then check out ebay, I have bought several there for, car, truck, bed lift etc., etc., at good prices.

Length AND PSI are most important....too low PSI and they won't hold the hood open, too much and they'll put too much stress on the mounts.....If you absolutely cannot find the numbers, and no one here responds, find one for sale, call and ask them to look for you.. Once you have the numbers, check EBay...I bought my replacements there......Dennis
