Power Gear air leveler red "battery" icon lit?

Out at a campground for the weekend and a little red icon like a battery came on the control pad by the drivers arm rest. House and chassis batteries are charged and we are plugged into 110. Magnum inverter is float charging, engine starts fine ... opened up arm rest access and unplugged/replugged both cables to the pad, powered off and on the via the pad on/off button, started up the CAT and pressed the auto mode and leveling lights show coach back to 3 green indicators. Shut down the engine and and system blinks the 2 Green indicators (as normal) BUT the red battery icon is still on. What does that indicate? That icon is in the vicinity of the park/twist/fault/slope indicators. This is a '07 Beaver Patriot.

Many thanks in advance,
Allen

The battery indicator indicates the voltage is too low to guarantee leveling.. Depending on the setting (Which I do not know) it may simply mean "Engine not running".

Example:

If set at 12 volt: you have a bad battery
12.5: Likely a dirty connection
More than 12.6, Engine needs to be running.

I'm guessing the system uses the chassis battery.

Does your Magnum converter charge the Chassis or just the house?

Both chassis and house batteries over 13 volts. How would you check what the warning threshold was set to?

By the way, driving home with alternator charging at 13.8 to 13.9 volts, the red battery icon on the power gear leveler still on. Suspension still seemed to work right ... travel mode, tag lift, auto level back home in sloped driveway ... ok. Frustrating icon! Front run bay seems to indicate part of the unit is is "the center bay" but I don't recognize anything like that there (yet). Not sure what it would look like anyway, but looking.

I had this issue and called Monaco technical. They did not have an answer and referred me to an individual at Valid. He told me that 99% of the time that that means the board has been wet. He also mentioned that Monaco installed it where they did not approve; right inside the drivers window. That that is the first failure and it will get worse and I needed a new board. He said the other 1% is indeed low voltage and to check the incoming voltage. He was correct, voltage fine. He wanted $470+- for the board. I found it on eBay for $225. Solved my problem. No more battery icon.
