Problems? 2007 Monaco Simba toy hauler Cummins

Hi, this is my 1st post and I am hoping to see if a Monaco is in my sights. I see a Monaco Diesel Toyhauler listed and find the idea of a Toyhauler intriguing as I like the idea of being able to include a motor bike or ATV without requiring a trailer. I suspect my son a automotive mechanic but motorcyclist might also love to borrow it.

Unfortunately I see a couple issues mentioned online. 1 about a rear trailing link on rear suspension that seems it can be fixed if it is not already for about $3000.

The 2nd though is about glass windshield damage from the Frame vibration-stress. This unit mentions a crack near upper edge of windshield, and its not something one wants to be happening without a rock or other impact involved. Is this something that Monaco came up with a fix for -or went bankrupt because of?

Also is it difficult to get glass for these Monaco, or Polycarbonate as it would need to pass an inspection if sold, so any idea on that cost ?

The unit apparently has about 100,000 miles on it so I am trying to put a value to it IF the unit can be repaired to a safe condition.

Thanks for letting me know if this is something we might enjoy in retirement or if I should stay well away from.

Here's a link to Source Engineering regarding the trailing arm issue, it does say all years of the Simba have the problem. Source Engineering Inc | Custom RV Chassis | Eugene, OR

The windshield can be caused by the frame twisting either while driving or parked and leveling. Following the proper sequence while leveling is important. Not sure if this is a big problem on the Safari line or not.

Cost wise the cost for my replacement (rock damage) about 12 years ago was $2000 but covered under insurance.
