Problems at Quartzsite

A friend scarped rear of a Knight 2011 and ripped off the tow connector off the coach
and he has 2 problems main slide won't retract and dash gauges don't work.
replaced 2 fuses in the rear its a diesel.
Slide makes a noice but won't retract, wonder it is a pin broke other slides work ok
can slide be pushed in ??

any suggestions, fuses, pin location or any other you mightt think of

i guess it can't be driven like this and must be towed even if the slide is manually pushed in

By tow connector do you mean the whole trailer hitch?

I have the same coach, 2011 Monaco Knight. Which two slides are you having problems with. Are they moving any? You can get them in manually by removing the center valance closest to the ceiling. The motor shaft is hex shaped. There is a flexible shaft wrench that slips over the motor shaft to bring the slide in. It works faster with a cordless drill.

I had a problem with my dinette slide not coming in. There was a bad relay on the slide control board. The control board is located in the compartment over the drivers head. The compart is the forward cabinet toward the windshield. Raise the door and remove the side panel (4 screws) to the left, inside the compartment. It's difficult to see the board, but on the support on the right hand side of the opening, slide your hand down the side parallel with the windshield. The control board is attached on the windshield side.

I hope this helps!

7 pin socket ripped off causing all the issues.
a mechanic got the slide and jacks to retract and it moves back and forth transmission in gear, problem now is dash gauges dont work at all not even air pressure amps or anything
i guess going to tow to Havasu AZ in couple days.mobile mechanic couldn't get last working and he gave up.

No way would I tow it if the brakes release... you have air pressure. If you are worried about how much psi, put a gauge on the line up front...does he have a air hose for filling his tires? If not, it’s usually a type C quick connect.

Maybe blew inline fuse near chassis battery on pos 10 ga wire usually within 18" could be all taped up / hidden . Feeds dash area / trans. They may have tapped in line for a brake controller or 12v charge wires ??? Might be unknown and hidden to repair facility call him.
