Hi 8.3ilburner,
I will check ohms to see if I can get various readings, appreciate your feed back, I ordered new replacement sensor/gauge last night since coach is 15 yrs old, after surfing web for an hour looking for best price I finally ordered same part number you listed but unfortunately at the higher price, that was all I could find. Thanks

Bench tested sensor and after moving needle with magnet many times I did start to get 3 different ohm readings, 0, half & full. Problem is each time I tested I would get different readings, one time 0 would be 5 ohms, next time 30 ohms and so on.
I reconnected sensor but could not get it to register, finally had DW stand at remote panel holding in test button which showed one light lit out of 5 possible (5 being full) then I continued to move magnet back and forth, the best I could get was 2 lights to register so my thinking is I have a bad sensor even though it does change in ohms. Will have to wait for new gauge to arrive, will follow up after I receive.

Finally received new gauge/sensor for LP tank, installed sensor and still no change at remote panel, decided to reprogram panel per Monaco instructions and all started working, not sure if reprogramming is necessary every time a sensor is replaced but was needed this time. One more item off my to do list.
Thanks everyone for your help.

Good afternoon Outbound; Glad you got your remote propane sensor to work. As for why you had to reprogram your inside indicator panel, I did nothing to mine. Just hooked up the disconnected wire and I go readings on my inside panel. I have an 01 Windsor and yours is an 02 Executive. Something different between yours and mine?? Anyway, glad you got it working.

Hi Outbound; Forgot to ask. How did you reprogram your inside panel. If it is not too much of a complicated procedure, I would love to hear it in case I ever need to. Some others might want to know also. Up tp you. Thanks

Above the LP button at remote panel you will see a small plug, remove it and you will see a small screw fitting inside, Monaco manual says to first fill propane tank, then hold down indicator button and turn setting counter clockwise until you have one light (empty light), then with button still pressed turn screw clockwise until all lights are lit (showing full) you can now release button and system should be programed, very simple procedure, hope this helps. Would still like to hear from anyone with a 2002 Exec that may know where keyless alarm box may be located, still looking for mine.
Thanks
