[QUOTE=R&J;2850192]Please note:
if it rains I will do as I have done in the pass, WASH the motorhome and let the rain rinse it off. You must be ready when it start raining because you won't have much time.
You mean like this guy, Rich?

Sanford...I was there and it did really rain and blow. Had a Alpenlite 5er at the time and thought we were going over. Our neighbor pulled in his slides to save his covers. I wasn't that smart. Although a nice gesture on your part, I doubt there is much one can do about the weather.....except for not going...not an option...

I am bummed. My company decided that I needed to be involved in a training class the week of quartzite so I won't be able to attend. I was really looking forward to sitting around with everyone and talking about our Monaco products, maybe next year. Hope everyone has a great time.

Q or bust!
I am fighting the "good fight" to be sure I'm there. EVERYTHING seems to be working against me. Although I would dearly love to leave about Jan 2, and take one of those leisurely "meandering routes" to Q, I'm getting problems from all directions. But if I have to leave the east coast on Jan 12 and do 10-hour drive days to get there by the 16th, I'll be there!
Last year was one of the best trips of my life, both the journey and the destination. Craig & Angie, Roy and Debbie, Mike (Drifter), Harry, Mike Hughes & Wanda, Roger & Patty, the Danes---it was a terrific gathering of easy-going, friendly gearheads. Loved it!
Mike Fetter--I've got the name placards made and ready to go. Will do my best to meet you on the 16th (or ?) and help you get set up. Thanks for all you do to make this gathering a great success!

Great idea - that will definitely give all potential participants a look into what this special annual meeting is all about.
As for the pot luck. I have been to a few where the food was - how can I put it - mediocre. 2 rally dinners stand out for me because everyone made a real effort to serve excellent food. One is the Texas Boomers Rallies (you can find their group here), and the other one is the Monaco Quartzsite rally. I will worn you that not everything is calorie free but the quality is top notch.
For all of you who are in doubt - you can still make it. Come join us.

Mary-Glenn Littman, posted the above link to a lot of photos they took last year (if you hoover your mouse over any of the pictures it will give you the names) of many of the attendees at the 2015 Quartzsite Monaco rally that had arrived by the time they took the pictures on Wednesday or so.
We are hoping to make it again this year, as it is a pretty darn good get together with some like minded folks. Does anyone have a feel for how many coaches are expected this year, I think it was over 40 last year.

Speaking of POT LUCK....what days are these planned for?
Unfortunately last year we arrived the day of a pot luck and had nothing to
contribute. Monaco people (being great people) invited us in anyway.
Just want to make sure we have something this year.
Plan on arriving Jan.15
Hoping to see all of you again.

If you like it hot...
We're going to FMCA at Indio then heading over to Quartzite. Expect to be there on the 14th or 15th. Let us know the date for the potluck. Marian makes a killer chili that everyone raves about. This will be our first.
