We're not a member of the Monaco "circle" but we are currently parked in the free camping area on La Posa Rd. It's just as wet here as it would normally be at home in Oregon. The forecast is for rain almost every day for almost a week. Hope it dries up for all you folks sitting around that campfire.

Come to think of it, we could use a little dry weather also, as our windshield wipers are no-functional right now.

Did some research and found the "King" dome has HD on Dish network, and is only $350.00. It is also portable etc. Can be activated and deactivated with one phone call as many times as you wish. No contracts, but you need to purchase the receiver I believe, and use your own hard drive (solid state) for recording shows. That will cost you a one time fee with dish to activate about $40.00. I'm still learning what is best for me to purchase. I know I DON'T want a unit permanently attached to my roof as I camp in lots of tree areas. Sanford PS Sorry about the rain, but we need all we can get out west.

Fastcat you are correct-it looks like Oregon today in Q. We are at Tysons Wash on west side. We're headed to FMCA in Indio this week and then back to LaPosa south. Weather is supposed to be rain over there too. Oh well I guess they need it.

The weather looks great for Q next week, so we should a great time this year.
We are looking forward to meeting our old and new friends.
Please bring firewood if you can. I will post final GPS settings on the afternoon of the 13TH, along with a phone number to help first timers find their way.

Hey Mike,
We are looking forward to seeing you again. We just got to Morango on our way to Canyon Vistas to meet up with Hal and Ginny. Planned to meet Henrich and Anne too, but not now of course. We plan to get to Q on the 13th. Glad to help with the site if needed.

The rain should help keep the dust under control when the group meets for the Big White Tent Show coming up. The desert is very nice in the winter time. Sanford

We're sitting in the rain in Napa. At least I don't have to shovel it!

Heading to Arizona next week and I'd like to stop in at Quartzsite for a few days. Is there any special time i have to be there to enter, is there any registration required?

Love to meet you folks as I am certain I can learn a lot.
