We got out before the real bad storm hit (tuesday early) but we still had to deal with some rough conditions until about Salem.

Potluck on Saturday...

...Drifter and I talked earlier today about the Potluck being held on Saturday...it looks like it will be a good day for it. I think we may have a possibility of showers on Sunday and SacsTC and I won't be here past then.
I am planning to bring some "Gumbo-laya" which is quite tasty...even if I don't put scallops in it!

I hope you can contact Drifter or post here as far as what you will bring..or if you can make it!

Exclamation Things to See or Explore in QZ

Someone had posted a list of different sights to see while in Quartzsite after you have been to the show and you want something different to do or explore.

I have been working on that list and have put their locations and links to them on a Google Map. I will apologize right now because I have only gotten about halfway through the list... but it is a start.

I hope some of you find the map helpful...

Check back periodically as I will continue to add other spots to the map.

Here's an update to whats happening here at Quartzsite. This is the beginning of day three and we have nine coaches (the best start ever). Have seen two new awning toppers installed and some new mods like a flat screen TV that folds up to disappear and some lighted door handles that change color. WOW!
More coaches coming in today and a Potluck planned for Saturday afternoon.

Any coordinates yet?

Hi all,
Does anyone have a good set of coordinates yet? We're looking forward to meeting everyone.

We are planning on arriving in Quartzsite Saturday afternoon for most of the week. It's our first time and we'd like to join you out at the site if there's room for one more.

I know we need to stop on the way in to buy a permit, but wondered if there are any plans for water deliveries or sewage truck visits to the site during the week.

Looking forward to meeting everyone on Saturday.

These pictures are from the Past, but represent where we are.
We are 2.2 miles south of I-10 on 95 at La Posa south mile marker 101, turn left coming from the north off of 95 into the long term camp area check in at the guard house get a sticker and proceed 1/4 mile and look for us on the right, just past a porta-potty. If you need assistance call 586-212-6670 and We will come and look for you! Lots of room, no worries

We're in Phoenix! Yea! Oregon! Boo! Love Oregon but we were supposed to be on the south side of the Siskiyous tonight, however the weather has not cooperated. Icy road at Siskiyou pass requires chains which we have, but are not yet willing to install. So we quit about three hours early with the expectation that there will be a window of open road tomorrow. The plan is to be there on the 24th barring any more weather delays.
