Looks like Cat & I may get to leave out of the Michigan "Thumb" on the 20th. This'll be our first trip to warm weather. We've wondered about heading to Texas or here. Anybody got recommendations to where to stay ? Dry Camping or hookups would be fine. Resorts or golf courses is not our thing. We have the Toad set up now so a little ways away from the cluster would be fine. Hope to meet some of you.

We plan to arrive about 1/17 and camp in the desert for about a week and then move to the Sunsetters RV Park in town for 5 weeks.

Yahoo!

So, Mama, are you and Sacs really coming south next month? It would be fun to see you again. What dates do you think you might be there? We're thinking we'll be there for a couple of nights, probably around Jan 17th.

I just can't wait to meet all the friends I haven't seen yet

We have extended our stay and will now be arriving on the 21st of January.

Just over a week ago we passed through Ehrenberg and filled up "the beast" at $2.04 per gallon. For us this was a new record and it really made our day.

Looking forward to see you all.

Yep...We really are coming to QZ! I believe we will arrive on Friday near noontime. I think I will do salmon on Saturday evening - so I guess I will have to do a sign-up post in order to know how much salmon to have.
I am looking forward to meeting everyone - old & new friends, alike.

I believe were coming in on the 15th. I will make some sort of sign and post what it looks like so we all can be easier to find. It's a big place with lots of room. The pics that Mic posted are great and well represents what to look for when entering the South La Posa entrance.
Last year we stayed 14 days meeting new friends. What a great time.

Kablewizard,
We spent some of the summer at Williams. Inline skated Morgan, The Wonder Lab, around the park. She loved it. It also is a very special place as I got my retirement orders on the computer, just a few yards from where you took the picture . Sure looks different with snow. It is also the location where the train came through at 4AM blowing the whistle. It was fun, great memories

cheetahgirl,

You and the big man coming in on Saturday 1/17 or Friday? We are thinking maybe Friday late pm or early Sat am. Depends on getting a petsitter for Surf and Luna. We'll have to leave on Sunday for patients on Monday.

Im here in Bouse north of Quartzite, been cold here the past three days. Did a little ride thru the Q Friday and the peoples are gathering thats fer sure and a lot of tents are already up and selling. Also took a drive thru Tyson Wash south of town across from where folks from here were last year. Roads were well graveled and smooth.

We haven't set anything in stone yet, but most likely we'll be there Sat and Sun (17th & 18th). Possibly Friday or Monday as well.

We're looking forward to getting together with old friends and meeting new ones as well.
