Questions about new to us 2008 beaver contessa

Traded our 04 Diplomat for 08 Contessa notices some items missing. Can't find any 12v outlets, can't find the control for tv imputs, ie cable, antenna, dvd etc. Anyone with a similar Beaver coach care to give me some clues? Thanks for any replies.

Congratulations on your new coach you will love it. I have a brochure for the 2008 Contessa along with a basic DVD for that year if you don't have those already send me a PM with your mailing address and I'll send them to you. Collected quite a few years worth of brochures until I finally took the plunge and bought a Beaver coach.

On my coach I only have two 12v outlets and they are in the dash near the AC/Heater controls but per the 2008 brochure doesn't look like they put any there. You might check next to the passenger seat or down by your feet area next to the front center drawer in the dash.

All our controls for cable, TV and DVD are in the cabinets in the front of the coach. Which model do you have?

Just remembered that when I bought my coach they gave me a 2008 owners manual (due to bankruptcy don't think they ever did one in hard print for 09). If you have the manual look on page 125 it shows a combo 110v outlet, telephone connection and 12v receptacle and states its located in the cockpit.

Good luck hunting.

Additional info, the model is a 42 Rome. No 12v outlet near the dash that I can find. Guess I'll add a couple need to plug in my nuvi. The tv seems to work OK. I'm just suprised that there is no big switch box. Found a switch for the antenna amp in driver's side overhead. This came up as I was working on wiring the Winegard traveler to the rear tv found 3 antenna cables going to back but have not yet tried to figure out what they all do. Got the satellite to work and quit looking for now.
