Mike, I would take it to a Cummins service center and have a chat with them. They may be able to test your gauge or install a better one that is more accurate.

I am planning on cleaning the exterior fins of my radiator soon. I want to ensure that I eliminate any obvious reason that may cause the engine to run warmer than normal. I don't think my engine is running too hot but I hate that damn beeping.

I know "turn the radio up loader". The beeping comes from behind the gauge cluster I'm sure.

Is your beeping the same as I am experiencing? My beeping seems to be coming from behind the instrument gauge cluster.

I don't have any beeping sound from the temperature it's just the gauge is right at the top range of normal I did flush the coolant put new coolant in and cleaned the radiator fins but it did not make any difference whatsoever

Chirping Sound

I had a 2006 HR Ambassador with similar sounding problem. Our faithful resident expert Diplomat Don answered my inquiry. Basically it is an additional alarm by Monaco located under the dash. Monaco recommended disconnecting and to rely on the Cummins sensors. I'm certain you can find his post.

Paul (Garbageman)

I have a 2005 Monaco Cayman with the same problem. Had it in the shop for front end work and was talking about it to the shop foreman. He asked if he could clean out the radiator fins, which he did, said he got a lot of crap out of it, yes it is a rear radiator. Have not had a beep since.

Thanks Von. That beeping about drove me crazy on my trip from the Oregon Coast to Kansas and back last September.
