Radiator help

My radiator is not fixable and I need a new one. Someone please direct me to the thread that talks about where to get a reasonably priced one. I was quoted over $4,000.

I was in Oregon 5 years ago and My cost to replace my radiator was 7,000 part and labor ! 4,000 sounds pretty good
I seem to remember the name who "made" the radiator( not installed it) was Radiator specialties in oregon. I think they did supply Monaco /Beaver in the day.

I bought a replacement from CG&J out of Alabama. I had quotes over $6K from other sources, paid $2650 including shipping. This was for an aluminum replacement but after doing some research I was satisfied with making the change.

I got the model number off of mine and purchased a new all aluminum radiator online (giant online retailer) for just under $600 and installed it myself (but I'm kind of crazy in that I enjoy that type of stuff) so I'm in my complete flush and radiator replacement less than $1,000. Sounds like you may have gotten yours figured out.

So is your Patriot rear radiator? My 98 is and the surge tank was leaking and I have a replacement aluminum one coming for it now. Hope this will fix my leak problem! Does the radiator come out the back?

No, mine is a side radiator. There are 3 screws on the bottom of the radiator grill; when you remove them, the whole grill swings up like the basement doors. I'm not sure about the rear radiator since mine is different. I would assume you could drop it down and out the bottom.
