The "green stuff" is ethylene glycol. typically good for 2 years. the "red stuff" is usually propylene glycol with extended inhibitors. The inhibitor usually used is dipotassium phosphate. Antifreeze becomes corrosive when the ph falls below 8.3. People usually think of the neutral point being 7, not so with antifreeze. Corrosive antifreeze will eat through a radiator, the water pump impeller, even through the frost plugs in the block. The inhibitors oxidise when exposed to air. Engine coolant systems now use expansion tanks and do not have radiator caps to reduce the potential for exposure to air. If you use hydrion ph test strips in a range from 7 to 10, you can test to see that your antifreeze is still over 8.3, and thus OK.

Help if you can. I need a radiator and lower bracket under radiator for my 2000 Monaco Diplomat. The copper heavy metal type. Web sites would be helpful. Thanks.

Not having a DP but worked on a lot of trucks, I'd say the top one is the charge air, the tubes are too big to be a radiator. The bottom right looks like an oil cooler. Is it possible the one with the leak is the ac condenser? It is awfully small to be that also but is it is it could be the oil leaking, but he says he has been leaking coolant. I would think there would be a radiator behind (ahead) of these. I would think the radiator would be as big as all these put together. Just a thought so those of you with one of these coaches can correct my mistakes which I do make now and then.

Its a big job, but doable with basic tools and mechanical knowledge.
Good Luck!
