Biljol,
I must have missed your post and the new magnum MSH3012RV inverter. I was just shopping for an inverter and had wanted a hybrid ever since I laid eyes on one.,but a $.50 fuse soldered to board was the culprit. That solves the split vs single phase issues . So I guess you can just tap into the original feed after the transfer switch. Correct ??
I had also looked at a schneider hybrid inverter but it would require 24v conversion.

To bypass the inverter yes. I was thinking if you pigtail everything to 50 amp plugs you can just swap the plugs.
