Rear marker lights to led brake, side and indicators.

Hi,

Though i would share will you all.

I own a safari cheetah 38pdq 2004 model year

Though i would change my rear high marker lights to led marker lights, brake lights and indicators.

I would encourage (and I have) anyone to change to LEDs whenever possible. Brighter, more consistent, and draw a lot less power.


Less power is a 2 edged sword. The LEDs will be more tolerant of less than stellar wiring connections, but may not be enough current to satisfy the factory turn signal / flasher relay enough to not flash slowly / or quickly. Ford Chassis have the ability to turn this feature off. Not so sure about Roadmaster.


Even if you keep existing housings and just put in LED bulbs on marker lights only, you are still doing much better than driver next to you.

I agree a lot brighter and makes the rear end looking nicer to.
