Rear slide toppers

I'm having to assist both rear slide toppers to retract when it is cold.
It would be lovely to find something slippery to spray on the fabric that would reduce this onerous task.
Any ideas.
The springs seem taut enough but the roller seems to binding - again only on cold weather

You could try this spray on canvas wax. I used it to restore waterproofing http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ilpage_o01_s00
Otherwise you may have to take another rotation on the springs.

I'll
Get some and give it a go
I put alone silicone spray on all the toppers before I went to Mammoth.
Hoping that they might stay relatively dry under the snow (which didn't eventuate)
Obviously that didn't work
