Rear start on a 08 HR Endeavor?

The manual mentions a rear start but I have not found one. Any 08 Endeavor owners who do have rear start? Where is it located if it exists?

Not sure whether it was an option on the Endeavor or not.

In my case the rear start consists of two switches mounted to the left of the engine (drivers side) readily visible. One switch says Front/Rear and the other is the start switch.

In my brochure it does not mention it but it does show it on my Chassis Wiring diagram and calls it Remote Start.

If you don't see something like this you probably don't have a rear start system.

I don't have one on my 08' coach. Think they did away with it.

You may have an older manual, that didn't have some older things removed yet.

We have an 08 Endeavor and there is NOT one.

I have a ton of files for our 40SKQ Endeavor. PM me with your email and I will send you a link to download them. We have owned our since new and have gathered a lot of stuff including the factory cd that was available for a time,

I've bumped that rear start switch more than once without realizing it. Go to start the coach at driver seat and you get nothing. That's a lonely sad feeling
You think I'd learn.

How useful is that switch?

Only thing I can think of, is if you had to bleed injectors.

I've use mine a couple times. Handy when you just replace the serpentine belt and want to watch it run. Also when changing filters.

I think if I were to leave my rig at a storage lot I'd go to the back and switch it to rear start for security purposes.

I have also hit the switch, the first time it happen my heart stopped as I sat in the drivers seat with no power to the key. Spend a couple hours checking batteries etc before I remembered the rear start switch.

Fortunately, I haven't had to do that. But like Jim say, priming the filters is handy.

When Cummins replaced my fuel line support years ago, I watched them use that switch to bleed the system and check for leaks as well.

That security idea Jim has is a good one too.
