Maybe someone tied other circuits into inverter. Or arnt some outlets split for icemaker one on inverter other only for shore/genny to run boiler heater.
After putting in a 2000 watt inverter some prior owner tied in more outlets on mine. One was the outlet for engine heater. The motor heater switch is low center dash area and red illumination is out . I was boondocking and wondered why batteries went low in about an hour so , I fired up portable genny. I just happened to decide to replace pop in new, old school style truck bumper licence plate lamp housings in. Half closed up under rear hood, after 15 minutes ,I was damn it's hot in here for some reason. I'm still surprised how warm it big old M11 was after several hours plugged in 80s temps outside, not sure if aqua hot was also helping or not. Now its unplugged so it doesn't happen again. Reminds me I need to make a label where outlet switched at and label for cord.
