It takes 2 people for sure. You must take off the front parts to make the washer and the dryer smaller to fit though the space. Not difficult once you figure out what needs to come off. I took off the control panel on both and it just fits through.

Two piece stacking W/D are a must have now that we are retired and doing extended travels. Use them a couple times a week unless dry camping.

It isn't hard. The only thing holding it in place was a plastic angle bracket screwed across the front of the unit.
Measure carefully to be sure you have adequate clearance all the way out the door. The Splendide is a couple of inches smaller in one dimension and you may need to orient it accordingly.
It takes two people. There probably isn't room for more than that to work, at least there wasn't in our coach.
I removed the cabinet doors and hinges, and put blocks on the floor the same height as the cabinet sill so we could slide it out of the compartment into the hallway to disconnect the water lines, unplug the electric cord and remove the dryer hose.
Monaco connected Pex tubing directly to the washer water fittings. There was no way I could get enough purchase to unscrew them so I had to cut them. After we figured that out the reset went easily. Don't forget to turn off the hot and cold water first!!
If yours is a Splendide one-piece, you can make carrying it out much easier. Once it is out of the compartment, remove the screws on the back that hold the top on. Inside is a 30# concrete donut that is the oscillation damper. Three bolts and off it comes, reducing the unit weight by about 25%.
Working carefully to avoid damaging any woodwork, it took us less than an hour.
Remember, Monaco didn't build the coach around the washer/dryer. It will go out just like it came in.

Cheers,

Good words to remember, Bob. Sometimes it doesn't seem like it, tho.

Cheers,

Actually the washer and dryer are put in before the wood work around it is finished. It would take far too much time to maneuver these into place around completed interiors.
