Removing cabinet???

There's a small full-height cabinet in our coach. We'd really like to get rid of it but I can't see how it's built or fastened in. I'm not too concerned about saving it, but I'm afraid to rip it out to find that the flooring and wall behind would need serious work. Do they install the flooring and wall finishes first, then add cabinets, or will I make a "hole" in the flooring if I remove it?

Any thoughts or recommendations from experienced "renovators"?

Thanks.
HW

the signature I just put bamboo in had the flooring installed up to the cabinets. If the original base shoe is there, pull that off and you may see a black rubber mat. this is used to stop cabinets and walls from squeaking while in motion

On my 99 Windsor the tile only goes just beyond the cabinet face, but in carpeted areas the carpet goes completely under.

If you can't see how the cupboard is fastened in the coach, then the cupboard has a false lining. It may be simply a light press fit. Try to gently pry the inner walls out. Then you'll see the screws that you need to remove.

OK. It's located right on the join of carpet/tile but I found it has neither underneath. Plan now is to see if I can remove the top part above the countertop (leaving the bootom cabinet) without messing up the wall too much. Hard to find any fasteners.
