To OP, we finally got the last of ours off yesterday using a very powerful industrial strength PW with a diesel burner for heat. Our coach is gold and black. The film came off the gold with minimal paint damage. The film on the black was weathered and cracked. It required the heat. We have significant paint damage. Even with this very large powerful industrial PW it was an all day job. We will repaint. Glad it is off. Will NEVER put one again. A learning experience for me.

Mike,
I think you have your answer but to further that, I am certain that ability to remove with a pressure washer is dependent upon the condition of the material being removed.
Very old, cracked and brittle, not so much. Newer, still flexible, yes (somewhat).

NHRA225 has the right idea. The material was not designed to last forever and looking at it like a maintenance issue really shows where he is coming from. Doing it this frequently allows for him to get a hold and remove with little hassle and with minimum time expended. There will be occasional chips stuck to the plastic but easily repaired and the plastic will allow them to fade into the surface unnoticed... My hat is off to you. I was in the auto body business for 38 years and I am not this diligent.

I tried many methods to remove my 3M bra. It was left on way too long, because I tried to get it off, starting about 5 years after it was installed when it started cracking. Labor intensive! So over the years I would try working on it a little bit at a time. Very frustrating. But ... Thanks Diplomat Dan! Dan's advice, from a previous older post on irv.com of "Problems with 3m bra." Finally ended my Clear Bra Removal Nightmare, by using a 3000psi Water Pressure Washer. Viewable video at:

Thanks again Dan! Least I wanted to answer the question at the beginning of this post ... "Has anyone tried using a Power Washer".
