When my slide is full out the rollers are on a sheet of plywood so I was able to remove all the tile under that part of the slide the new floor is about 1/8 inch lower and is a bit cushy.

If it gets to bad I am thinking a bit of hardy backer down will take care of that.

The hardy backer should work fine. You'll know if you need it the first time the rollers go over the transition.

I would suggest removing the tile far enough back that the roller always stays on the new material and adjusting the roller height if needed. Thereby keeping the slide at the proper height and avoiding a transition all together.

Any upgrades you do to your coach should be done for yourself as if you trade it in at a RV dealer no up grades will add to the value and if you sell it to an individual the up grades only add value if it is something the new buyer wants.

I don’t think anyone would attempt this project without it being for them or being compensated rather well.

Just put in my last peace where the slide comes in I have about 1/8 inch gap from the wood the slide sits on when out to the new lvp. The hight is the same level but the lvp has a give of about 1/16 of an inch I think I will be just fine[emoji41]

Why did you give up on the electric heating?

If I went to the trouble of lifting the tile, there would be heating under whatever I installed!

The radiant heat Requires a non-foil back underlayment and it cannot be close to cellulite such as a quart underlayment. Unfortunately I had already laid the foil underlayment and already purchased and sized for the cork underlayment so to rip all that up just to put the radiant heat in I did not feel was worth it.
