Repainting Diplomat Aluminum Roof

I am thinking of repainting my diplomat roof which is
aluminium
The roof has got some blemishes and starting to get some pinholes I have been informed of some paints which seals as it paints I have been told about a paint called rustolium peganox has anyone tried this and with any luck.
Or any other sealant paint that would do the same job
Thanks

ukSteve;
All I can offer is what I've been told when I was looking at repainting my aluminum awing covers.
Aluminum needs a special prep or a paint that contains the chemical to prep it and cover it at the same time, and it is not cheap. It seems normal paints will not adhere well to aluminum. It seems the metal needs to be etched in some way to have paint adhere.

I don't have the thread on hand here but you might want to search the forums.

Just google the following "aluminum painting techniques" for some basics

The roof has been painted originally by Monaco
So I think I can paint on top of it

I would be careful doing that because there are issues with some paints adhering to aluminum paints.

I would contact Monaco and ask them for the type of paint used and maybe they could advise you on which paint to use to re-paint the roof.

Just my 2 cents.
