Replace Surround speakers

I have the Navigator with the flip up TV. I replaced the TV and upgraded the stereo equipment. Now I'm looking at the "built in" speakers in the front ceiling unit. They appear to be about 3" diameter.

Has anyone replaced the stock ones from Monaco and what did you use?

Haven't replaced mine, and are slightly different than yours (mine are in little boxes, and hang down from the ceiling a bit more than yours), but I'm a big fan of Boston Acoustic speakers !
Just make sure the impedance is correct for the rest of your equipment.

If you decide to carefully plan to use bigger speaker don't forget back depth. They make an adapter to use a pair of hole saws smaller to center. As those look space to th bottom more you can screw a panel over existing hole. The cover would have to cover all old screw holes.

Didn't mean to quote that now... I can't edit. The panel screwed over existing hole . Is if you want to enlarge or move a hole saw hole. When I proofread and see what I meant to say.
