Thanks to all for your help. It certainly has been an interesting discussion and very helpful. I have pulled the trigger. Ordered 6 new michelins to go on the coach. Scheduled next thursday to get them put on along with dynabeads and a front end alignment. The tpms will be ordered soon to go with them as well. Thanks again for everyone's help.

Good choice because you made the decision. After everything is mounted/balanced, be sure and get you rig weighed then go to the Micheline website with the weight info and make sure the correct air pressure is/has been put in. Your tires will appreciate it.

If you search this forum using "michelin or goodyear" you'll see lots of threads... other brands out there too. Most Monacos of recent years were equipped with Goodyears and some owners have lots to say about why they did or did not change over.

Since this is a Monaco Owner's Forum I will mention that Monaco Int'l Club has negotiated a "fleet-discount" with Michelin. If you happen to be a mamber of that club and decide on Michelin it's worth looking into.

I am not a member of monaco intl but i am a member of fmca and did get their pricing. I did call several tire shops and got prices all over the place. I even priced some other brands and just could not justify going with a "cheaper" brand when i could only save $50-$100 per tire. I have read of very little negativity with michelin and every tire shop i talked with said unquestionably michelin is the best. So thats the route i went. Thanks. Chad
