Haloge do loose brightness over time so a new set of bright bulbs may make a big difference. The brightest bulbs on list do make a big difference compared to basic bulb . Years ago as a bodyman I would adjust customers HLs on a dark quite level road. Some new vehicles don't have a lot of adjustment like back then.
There are HID upgrades as well as LED. Plenty of posts about HID and LED headlights if you do a search. But I have heard where these upgrades were more prone to early failure and some bulbs although very bright didn't focus well on reflective rear concave of HL so didn't preform as expected. Same bulb worked great in one car not so great in another HL housing. On a positive note in a MH the extra rear clearance needed for HID and LED bulbs should be less of an issue than cars.
