Replacement oil pressure sensor part number?

I need to replace the oil pressure sensor on my 2003 Monaco with Cummins ISX15 - 525 hp. Anyone have a number I can use at Napa, as Cummins wants a gazillion dollars for one. Thanks.

Is it the Cummins sensor that's giving you problems .

From other posts it's my understanding the Monaco installed their own sending units for the gauges.

The Monaco owners manual says the Cummins engine uses a VDO 360 0238NDO sending unit. This is a 2 terminal sending unit (1 for gauge and 1 for warning light) and 0-100ohm. This part number has one to many digits and does not work in the VDO catalog.

I spoke to Cummins and they supply the engine with a three terminal #4921517 oil pressure sensor. He says many of the manufacturers add a VDO 360 023 sensor (same part # but drops the 8 on the end of the part number). This turned out to be the correct part number.
They are available on eBay fairly reasonable. My gauge now works great.

Joe, there are two oil pressure sending units on the Cummins ISX. One is installed by Cummins and feeds the engine ECM (electronic control module). The other is installed by Monaco and feeds the dash gauge and warning light.

Does your dash oil pressure gauge work? This is fed from the VDO 2 post sending unit just above the starter.

Does your Aladdin read the correct oil pressure? This is a 3 prong unit fed from the ECM. Usually if this reads incorrect it will shut down the engine.
