Replacing Drop down TV in 2006 Monaco Sig.

I am trying to replace the dated LCD tv in the drop down tv mount on my 2006 Monaco Signature. I have removed most of the screws and velco from the facade which covers the back of the tv as well as the mounting screws attaching the tv to the frame. There appears to be two rectangular blocks of wood which are likely superglued to the plastic inside surface of the facade, making difficult to access the remaining mounting screws for the tv. Any idea how the blocks are affixed and how one would remove them from the plastic without ruining the facade?

This is the challenge of an older coach, which had at the time, new technology. Of course there is still a VCR in the cabinet. And, the Sharp Aquos does have a single HDMI input. I am replacing it with a new model 4K OLED Smart tv, which is 50" and half the weight, and much less power consumption. Any help would be appreciated.

Congrats on buying a great coach. Did you solve the AC problem? If so, posting the solution helps others.

You have to remove the entire plastic enclosure to access the TV mount itself. I found it easier if the TV was about halfway down. There is also Velcro holding the top of the panel on, remove all the screws you can find, on mine 2 at each corner then carefully pull on the panel to separate the Velcro. Hope this helps

Bill gave you good advice. After removing all the screws you have to pry the Velcro off.
I also installed a 50" TV in the lift.

Thanks for the advice

Thanks all for the advice. I have removed all the screws, including the surrounding piece thinking it would uncover some other screws. Yes, there is a lot of velcro, which most has become brittle, but still sticking. There appears to be two blocks of some sort. It's too dark to really see what they are, but they are about midway from midline to the outer edge, bilaterally, left and right as you face the front of the coach. And, they are about 3/4 of the way to the front edge of the plastic, toward the windshield. When you pull down on the plastic to release it from the velcro, you can see the outlines of the block in the vinyl. I am attaching a photo, taken from the back edge facing forward. The lighter beige is the plastic piece and the upper dark is the TV and mounting hardware. The black item behind the tape is the object which I refer to as blocks.

Regarding the air conditioning issue. The fix was simple, they replaced the rear A/C unit and it is now blowing cool air. The only problem now is that regardless of the fan speed set, low or high, they all seem to blow the same. I have not confirmed that the middle A/C unit is working, however, the bathroom and shower area have cold air through the vents.
