Resistor Pack

I have a 2006 Beaver Monterey and looking for the resistor pack for the dash fan speed control. I followed the four wires from the back of the switch to where it exits the inside firewall near the drivers side. I feel it must enter the generator compartment but this is a tight squeeze. Does anyone know exactly where this is and do I have to remove the generator to replace it?

I believe that the resistor pack is usually located in the box where the fan motor is. The ones I have seen are usually mounted on a small piece of plastic that is screwed into the fan box. the size I have seen is usually about 1-1/2 to 2 inches long and not usually square shaped.
Good luck, good health and safe travels!

Thanks for the information. It seems to be really difficult to get to but I will find it.

I have found and replaced the resistor. It is located under the front cap above the generator. You have to extend the generator and crawl under the coach into the space where the generator was and squeeze and reach into the space to remove the resistor. Not a job for anyone who does not like confined spaces. But, the fan does work now and I am happy for the experience.

Denny; Thanks for wrapping up your post , glad you got things fixed up.

FYI; you can set up a signature line , so you don't have to type your coach info in with every question. By clicking the " Quick Links " drop box under your welcome message, then " Edit Signature" type in your coach info then click save, at the bottom of that page, and the info will automatically appear below your posts.
