Restoration

I've bought a 1996 trek safari pathmaker that I'm currently working on. My problem is an electrical problem. The battery box under the stairwell was looking pretty bad so I decided to remove the old one and build a new one but big enough for two batteries . While I was building the new box my son disconnected all the cables from the batteries and the cables under the chassis. The problem is he disconnected everything before I could label everything now I have a big plate of spaghetti to sort out . I'm hoping that someone could give me some information to which cables go to the batteries and which are connected to one another that the 12volt kill switch works as well as the kill switch in the battery box. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Well........ First I would find the frame grounds. There may be a ground right to starter that one is chassis battery.Protect tape the battery posts so no connection oops can occur hopefully he didn't bend and push/pull them all in and out of the way ,so as the are still kind of bent to a certain spot.BUT YOU STILL NEED TO PROVE THEY ARE RIGHT. Put Batts back. . Are there old school round top post clamps ...if so the pos.has bigger posts so ...neg and pos should fit just right on each posts you should be able to tell the difference. The bigger cables should be somewhat trained/bent to reach or only reach certain posts. Diesels usually have one 10ga cable with inline fuse to dash and trans panel. There are some 100s amp large fuses those are positives.Starter positive no fused ...do you have wiring diagrams???

Unfortunately no I don't have any diagrams I've been trying to get some but no luck. If you have any information about where I could find one that would be great .

Make separate thread ask as well as Google and follow many threads to see of you can find a link to an open share on a cloud type deal.

Ok maybe I described the problem wrong . At the moment the interface, generator, solar, vehicle batteries, kill switch ,battery separate switch and house batteries are disconnected. My question is does anyone have a plan as to which wires go to the house batteries and kill switches then where and how do the interface vehicle batteries solar and generator get hooked into this.
