Okay, called the motor manufacturer Klauber, learned that the motor does have a brake. So, disconnected that and was able to manually start to move the slideout after loosening the torque nuts. Problem is, only the side where you crank it moved. If i used a wrench on the other side I could move it slowly with great difficulty. Never the less, we were able to get the slide out in all the way with the exception of the difficult side about an inch or so. We can push it in, but it comes back out.
We connected everything back up to see if the electric motor would work and nothing. We know the motor was working because we could hear it come on after we changed a connector by the motor that seemed burnt, because I think we over extended the slide which is what got us into this mess! Batteries read good, had the switch checked, and all fuses are good. I have no idea where to go from here. Any ideas? We are brand new to this so any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!
