REV Group Service Center - Indiana

Our new to us 07 Monaco Diplomat 40 May have full wall slide issues our local RV shop cannot handle. This local owned shop is a large operation-I trust them if/when they tell me the they cannot fix the slide. Occasional uneven front-back operation and the front does not seal tight. Approx 1 inch gap at the top.

What have you experienced or heard about the quality of work done at the REV_Monaco service center in Indiana? I’m east coast so two day drive to REV.

Thank You!

Watching this. My rig got undercut by some wannabe race car driver in a mazda with a baby in the back.

It sounds like a synchronizing cylinder issue.

Lazy Days RV in Tampa FL just repaired a complicated slide out issue on another IRV2 members Monaco Coach. They used to be one of the largest Monaco dealers and repair centers.

REV Group has no interest in legacy Monaco coaches. They only purchased the name and promptly closed all the former Monaco facilities.

I believe the Lazy Days facility you mention is the one in Wildwood, Fl (near the Villages). That used to be Alliance Coach/Monaco before being bought out by Lazy Days. There is a rumor that some on the old hands still work for LD and can do really good stuff on older Monaco coaches.

And yes, REV will not look at Monaco's or even my HR - too old. Told me they only work on stuff they sold since taking over both HR and Monaco.

That’s interesting, they said they’d work on my 2009. Heading there in 10 days….

They did decent work on my ‘02 Diplomat about a year ago, but other customers there were unhappy with the long wait for parts or say the proper paint match.Best way to describe is ‘inconsistent’. Like almost anyone, they were severely understaffed and undersupplied with parts. Decent overnight facility however.

We have used the facility in Decatur twice, and both times have been pleased with the service.
We have also used Rev's Service Techs while attending the Fleetwood Rally, and again, have been pleased with the quality of work.
The Decatur facility offers excellent overnight parking, 50-amp service, a comfortable customer lounge and you can also arrange for a plant tour while your coach is in for service.

REV Service replied to my online service inquiry today (after 6 days) asking about my issues. I’ll let you know how it goes. Thank You for your experiences.

I would suggest checking with Talin RV Service in Brooksville FL. They specialize in Monaco’s and might be the answer. If not, they probably can recommend an option.
Phone is 942-392-2653. I’ve never heard a negative review on them.

Another source would be Elkhart Sales and Service. Tom knows his way around HR and Monaco’s.
