Ride Height Adjustment

Found the instructions for setting the ride height on the Monaco Coach site (in an '06 Executive manual - same chassis as mine). Problem is that there is only one adjustment each for front and rear, and my driver side front airbags are over 10 inches and the passenger are 9 inches (9 inches is what the manual calls for).

Any ideas on how this gets adjusted? My truck repair place couldn't help once they realized it wasn't going to be fixed by the mechanical adjustment. They think it is in the HWH system. I thought the HWH was more or less shut down when at ride height.

Any thoughts? I have an appointment to have it looked at by a shop that does most of the chassis service for the local RV dealers, but I can't get it in until November.

The side to side is set by the 2 height adjusters on the rear axle and that should be set first. Then set the one adjuster on the front axle and that should get both front bags to within 1/4" or so. If not recheck the rear. This adjustment should be done when sitting on a dead level surface.

Steve,

Thanks. Finding a level surface is the tricky bit. One of the reasons I took it to a shop was they have a flat floor.

Remember to put MH in travel mode and leave the ignition key ON. Dump air and re-inflate if front sides are not equal. Unless there is a malfunction in the HWH system both front sides will have the same pressure. My manual says to do the front first. Probably does not matter as long as you go back and forth until all corners are correct
