Ride Height Valve for 04 Windsor

Just incase somebody is searching for this info down the road some time. The drivers side rear would not air up, found the issue to be the Hadley Ride Height Control Valve HOO450CE. I found one at a local truck shop (it also fits Volvo trucks) to get the rig back on the road, but just ordered two more from ebay. There is one in the front and two in the rear. Very easy to replace with 2 11mm and one 12mm wrench. The hard part is getting them adjusted to the correct ride height but there are plenty of other posts on here that cover that. I have mine close but will wait for the other two valves to come in before working on getting all four bags at the right height. Also if they cant find the Hadley Number, it cross references to EUCLID #EUC E9623

Sean,

I made up a template for my ride height out of plywood. It's easy to adjust each bag.

Thats a good idea, I suppose you cut a curve out of it to fit around the airbag? And I assume your year has the same height for all the bags front and back? (9.5?)

Sean,

My template is a big "L".
On top and bottom of the air bag is a 1/4" steel plate. The top plate is mounted to a steel rail. All I do is measure from the bottom of that rail to the bottom of the bottom mounting plate. I had to make the template 1/2" longer than the published air bag height to account for those to steel plates. (from the top of my "L" to the top of the horizontal leg of the "L" is 9 5/16" + 1/2" = 9 13/16")

My airbags are 9 5/16" front and back. If they were different, I suppose I would make up 2 different templates.
