Roof Mounted Spot Light

The roof mounted spot light on my 1997 Monaco Executive will move up, but not down. The entire assembly will move let & right, however, the bulb will only adjust up. I do allot of boondocking and would like to have this working correctly for those night time arrivals.

If it's original, you got your money's worth.

I'd take it apart, clean it, lube gears up and re-assemble. You might get lucky. If you see a name on it, maybe google it, but I doubt you'll find replacement parts.

I know this is not what you asked about but if you need light this will do it.

I put one on my golf cart and it will light up the night

Moves one direction but the motor won't reverse , first thing to check is the switch operation to make sure the power/ground swap is taking place .

Yep. Those are probably spades on wires, not a plug on the switch. One wire may have even gotten knocked/pulled off. Proceed carefully if removing switch you don't want to figure all the wires out if you pull them off.
