Those rope lights work great for elephants too! Haven't had a single one!

In Phoenix area for 5 months and we use rope lights as do our neighbors. Have not had any pack rat or mouse problems since we started. Don't know if that's the reason.

Rope lights, mothballs, skyhooks, etc, are kinda like an burglar-alarm system. You never know for sure if they are effective... until they aren't.
