My Monaco Dynasty has a Thetford Deluxe II toilet that sometimes will not flush and sometime will not close. Uses too much water. Currently it will not close. I like the toilet if it would work properly. Frustrated. Especially during Covid-19 with public restrooms closed

If it is the two button toilet with the front button adding water only.

When it will not close press and then release both the front and back button at the exact same time and it will close. It just takes a quick press of both buttons.

Try power cycling entire coach from main power disconnects and if that doesn’t get it working correct they do sell a very overpriced new controller for more than what a new toilet would cost.

Thetford does make a seal lube you might try
Thetford 36663 Toilet Seal Lubricant & Conditioner 24 oz

You may have to take the toilet apart and clean and lube the seal thoroughly. If you have it apart use some lithium grease on the worm gear that actually opens and closes the gate valve.
