Replaced all six spark plugs today. Gotta say that the #5 plug is a real pain to reach. Cummins should consider relocating the danged turbo mount bracket. Drained the blinker fluid and refurbished the kneuter valve sleeve while I was at it. Next weekend I plan to rotate the Allison's belts.

Well shoot, I thought I was all caught up after exchanging the air in the tires and now I read a whole list of things I haven't been doing.

A left handed wrench will make that number 5 plug easier to reach. I still have to check the muffler bearings and we should be ready to go again.

This discussion is probably too technical for most members here, so I apologize if some of you can't keep up. Maybe we will reduce it to simple language at a later date. Meanwhile, I recommend replacing the muffler bearings if there is any pitting at all.

Hey Meandering Retiree,
I havn't heard about the muffler bearing since I was a greenhorn on the Alyeska Pipeline in Prudoe Bay in the early '70's. I better go look for mine!

Sacs just called and told me that replacing the Blinker fluid is just like the ride height adjustment ...it is too dangerous for me to attempt to do ...Dang...I NEVER get to do the fun stuff

I checked the muffler bearings this weekend and will have to replace them. I am going with the chrome muffler bearings. They cost more but they should last longer.

While you are doing your regular service, be sure to adjust the centifuge diaphram 3 turns clockwise. And, I hope you aren't wearing a digital watch, or you may turn it the wrong way.

Hope you folks have remembered to remove the winter air from your tires. Just performed the task and the summer air rides so much smoother. Think it improved my milage also.

Sacs isn't answering the phone ...but I am going to go out to wash the rig before it rains tomorrow - he told me the other day to stay clear of a certain widget. He said that all my extra "Karma Pixie Dust" is stored in it. Any idea where that particular widget might be?

I will attempt to answer in code so nobody knows the location of the magic "Dust". It is stored in your model coach 22 11/32" above the "M" on the Monaco mud flap and 51 35/72" from the right tail light.
