Greg I didn't use corroseal I used Ospho although I think the two are about the same. I only remove the flack rust and didnt brush the surface rust as it will turn it black and when dry forms a clear like seal that can be painted giving a extra layer of protecting, I did a 99 Dip frame that came out of the north with it years ago, on the coach I used eye protecting and gloves sprayed with 1 gal sprayer and a quart spray bottle. Before I did anything I washed the chassis real good with a pressure washer and let it dry.
my son brings me my Ospho from Venice LA 70 miles south of NO LA where I lived for about 30 +yrs. the cost of the last gallon was about $20 gal.

From what I have experienced with this stuff Fluid Film® | Corrosion Preventative, Lubricant and Rust Inhibitor , I would spray a good coating of it on all of the underneath.
My autos have been sprayed with it..........
Study/read up on it.........very impressive history this product has!

Just found fluid film at my local Lowes for $9.99. It was new on the end cap display by tools. I will try it next week on some light frame rust and post photos.
