I think your best bet is to call. I called the Virginia State park near me and one of the private campgrounds. The state park had just closed to camping but the website had not been updated. The private campground was open, but their website did not reflect that.

It varies State by State.
Actually best to stay put. Unless you have to move. We full-time and are in one place, and will be for another 7 weeks.
Trust me, we would like to be in another location, but movement is limited (depending on region)
Rvillage has a current list and RV Corona virus news on FB as well.

https://www.campgroundreviews.com/ has been working full-time at updating its database of parks to include COVID-19 closure information. Information is being obtained directly from park management in order to avoid spreading misinformation.

If your 'holed up' in Desert Hot Springs, I hope your site is upwind of the rest of the park !

We left Desert Hot Springs after one week, way too much wind. We have found every park open except for one in New Mexico. Government parks all seem to be closed. Private all seem to be open. We have traveled from Florida to Washington with only one private park not taking us. Most of the parks seem to be less than half full except for the usual full timers. Each private park seems to be making up their own rules. Best to call but I would not cancel any travel plans. We've had no issues finding a park.

I planned a trip to pensacola beach rv resort for this week so I will stay there a few days and chill out.
