RVA bong wont go off on my 98 Beaver PT

My jacks are going up and down alright but the RED BONG light wont quit bonging! according to the manual its either a jack not up or the rear control panel is on or it needs oil. Jacks are up aft switch is off and cant get it to take any oil with the right jack down 6in per manual . Its supposed to quit bonging when the correct level is met. Any recommendations would be appreciated . TIA Kevin

If all else fails - Disconnect the "Yellow" wire (fluid level sensor) at the tank and see if the Bong stops.

If it does stop you have a stuck/bad fluid level sensor (just be sure the fluid level is correct first before condemning the sensor). If it doesn't stop the alarm, then move to the next items that can make the alarm sound. Process of elimination.

well I have unplugged the yellow wire at the drivers control and it quits bonging and flashing! How can I verify the correct fluid level with out the sensor? Is there a measurement in the tank? Is that a site glass on the side of the tank? Any suggestions on how to fill the tank?

There is no good way to fill the tank without using the "level indicator" (bong/light) working.

I would make a dipstick (like a pipe cleaner or stiff wire) and find the height of the oil level now. Then see where the tank fluid level screws into the side of the tank and make sure the oil level is above that.

I'm not sure what/where the level sensor is located - but I assume it would be mounted/screwed into the side of the oil tank around the 2/3rds full height.
You can add oil with one of those cheap plastic hand pumps sold at most auto parts stores.

2. Learn the sounds of a normal pump as jacks extend, the relief valve as jacks extend fully, and the gurgling sound of the pump when the unit is low on fluid. If necessary to add fluid, use regular Automatic Transmission Fluid (Dexron III).

3. If it is necessary to fill with additional fluid, start by extending any jack 6” from fully retracted position (other jacks should be fully retracted). Unscrew reservoir cap from the top of the pump, fill with fluid until red light and bong turn off, then stop adding fluid and replace the cap.

It is possible the nason switch for the Airbrakes can do it. For the first 30 mins of my drive I get a jacks down alarm also. I have changed the fluid in the lift reservoir and they checked the fluid level switch and replaced the nason switch. The fluid is full to the point that I get a little over flow from the tank at times so it cant get much more full.
