RVA Leveler Calibration

Greetings All,

I'm attempting to recalibrate my RVA and can't locate the transmitter unit. Anyone have any idea on where that might be located?

I have a 2000 Dynasty Baron.

(Auto level ends up with the rear end 2 bubbles higher than it should be).

Thanks!

Mine is on the ceiling of the utility bay, toward the passenger side.

Our rigs are probably different but mine is on the ceiling of the utility bay which is a narrow compartment with access doors on either side, passenger or driver. It is situated about 3 feet in front of the rear wheels. Mine has the inverter, water pump, water filter assy, monobloc, and much of the wiring and some electrical components in it. It is a pass thru, if you open the doors on both sides you can see straight thru it.

Ahhhh.. now I know what your talking about.

I've looked in there for other things but not the transmitter.. I'll crawl through there again and see if I can find it..

Man, turns that calibration into a two man ordeal!

Thanks!

Bob I think you will find a little trap door in the top of the first bay passenger side or at least that is where the HWH air level adjustment is in our 2000 dyn.

Ok. I opened the pass-through bay on both sides and checked both floor and ceiling for either the transmitter or a trap door and no luck.

Opened the two utility sliding doors and looked in the area behind where the water heater and inverter are and didn't see it on either the floor or ceiling.

There was something in there I dimly recall seeing in the documentation that has a lock/unlock symbol on two ends but don't think that was it.

Mines a 2000 Dynasty as well Walt. When you look at your transmitter, is it a triangle shape?

Thanks guys!

Bob remember I said I have HWH air leveling not RVA but yes the RVA level sensor is triangle shape, see it here. Parts Listing -- Controller
Let us know where you find it. I would think it is going to have to be in the top of one of the bays behind the ceiling material.

I'll continue the search tomorrow during daylight and hopefully find it.

Once I do I'll post back the location in case someone else needs to find it as well.

Thanks again.

Found it!

In the 2000 Dynasty it's located in one of three possible places:

In the shroud around the steering column.
Under one of the bottom drawers in the galley.
In the top of the drivers side electrical bay.

This is because it's prior to them using the HWH leveling system which typically is installed somewhere in the pass-through bay.

Being that mine is in front of the steering column on the floor I was able to adjust it and calibrate the system without having to go back and forth or require a second person.

Thanks all for your help!
