RVA Levelers-'99 Monaco Windsor

I had mentioned in another thread about my leveling jack issues....basically trying to get them to work after buying this coach a couple of months ago. Prior owner had not used them in several years.
Thought I should start a thread dealing with only the jacks as I have several issues I am trying to work through.

Does anyone know where the switch is in the park brake line that tells the jacks not to work unless the brake is set?

Also should be a switch in the transmission circuit that requires it to be in Neutral.

Need to find these switches and verify they are working correctly.

Thanks,

Do you have a wiring diagram for your coach.

I have one for my 2002 Windsor. I have the manual RVA II jack system. My wiring diagram only shows a park brake switch tied to a relay that enables the jack controls. There is no interaction with the transmission.

This may be that the transmission is already tied to the park brake alarm control.

Right off hand I don't know where the relay is but you may try checking on the bottom of the park brake.

Yes I have a wiring diagram, there is a "transmission interlock relay" wire that goes from the center terminal on the leveler pump solenoid to the leveler safety relay. I know where that relay is.

I thought there was a switch of some sort in the air system that lets it know when the brake is on.....but that's not shown on the diagram so maybe I was mistaken.

I have talked with RVA and they readily admit that the wiring diagram can be changed depending on how the motorhome manufacture installs the system.

Most of the electrical components are in the front roadside compartment.

Yes, that is where the leveler safety relay is located but I was just asking if anybody knows of any other switch for the park brake that would affect the operation of the levelers?

Have you called the mfr? The owner is quite helpful.

Also it may be the switches on the panel itself causing them not to work. I have a couple on mine that didn't work and I've had to replace them.

Yes I have talked to Dennis a number of times although he is not very helpful as to how the coach manufacture installs the system. He knows nothing about the transmission interlock or the airbrake wiring which both have to be correct for them to work properly.
I definitely have a wiring issue as someone in the past has changed a few things. For instance, under the parking brake valve is a switch with three wires, two were cut and rerouted somewhere else and third wire, the red one, is not even connected to anything.
First major problem is the pump motor is energized with the ignition switch in the on position, trying to figure out how to remedy that.
