Hey Dennis, how about a detailled report of where you placed the Sagatsune latches. I ordered them and while I was waiting for them to come in I read a report of how someone ruined their refrig. when drilling the holes, and so I've been to chcken to do so. I am using the tape to hold them for now but am not to happy with how that is working. Thanks, Mark

I used a velcro strap around the frig. handles, and used a shoulder strap from a old laptop computer bag as a strap across the freezer drawer. I attached a small hook I found at a sailboat marine on each side of the wood frame that the frig. sits in to hold the laptop shoulder strap. Never had a problem since. Easy to install and remove.

I also used this lock. It works great. It was in the mail 3 days after order was put in.

Don,
Removing the old Norcold 1200 was not fun. Built a dolly at correct heighth to pull it out on first after removing all doors, hinges, etc.. We decided that we were going to trash it anyway, so we removed the cooling unit inside and carried it out separately. Then removed all remaining parts that we could and carried out just the box unit last. The GE 16.5 Cu. Ft. residential went in just fine, and have about 5 1/2" space on the right side for a broom/dustpan/mop storage area.

FWIW for my Samsung's freezer drawer I am using an idea I got from someone on this forum which was to mount a small "L-bracket" to the cross-piece of the refrigerator, just above the top of the drawer. With the drawer closed then drill through a hole in the L-bracket into the plastic top of the drawer front. When we travel I drop a small hitch pin through the L-bracket into the hole in the drawer. Works like a charm and can withstand the rather large forces that a freezer full of food can create when you make a turn. I actually used two brackets evenly spaced along the drawer width. It's not as elegant as the latches you mentioned but the brackets are totally invisible with the doors and drawer closed.

To keep the doors closed I stuck a small piece of this: Amazon.com: Scotch(R) All-Weather Fasteners, 2 Sets of 1 Inch x 3 Inches, Strips, Clear (RFD7090): Office Products on both doors near the top and the bottom. When we travel my DW attaches a longer piece to the ones on the doors, bridging the gap between the doors. In 20,000 miles of travel it has worked without a problem.
