Scepter vs Windsor

Ok, so not a competition but where does the Scepter fall in line with the Monacos?
We are "just looking at floorplans" over here in Boise and saw a nice clean 04 Scepter that caught my eyeIs it on the rr8r chassis also?
Thanks!

Scepter, Camelot (and Beaver Contessa) are the same line. I think the Windsor would be one level up. All of them would have the RR8S (40' and under) or the RR10S (42') chassis. R means rear radiator and S means side radiator.

So Scepter would/should be on same chassis?
It's a 40' also.

Yes. These are 8 or 10 bag suspensions on the Roadmaster chassis.

Thanks for the prompt replies!
The Scepter has a rear bath that I don't like but I am taking the DW over to look today, just for future reference.
Also doesn't have washer/dryer.

Later year Scepter's the combination W/D are standard. The stacked washer and dryer is optional.

The DW loved it, especially the rear bath with the half mid coach.
Things to think about.....

We purchased a 2005 Scepter PDQ 3/14, put 17k miles on since, could not be more pleased, no major issues.

DW loves the tub. With the Hydro(aqua) Hot, plenty of warm water for her bath and my shower.

We saw this one and went back in the next Sat morning to make an offer and someone was already in finance to get it.... :( :(

But the salesmen said they had someone that had bought from them, used their storage area, but was thinking about putting it on their lot... said he would give us a call....

He called Tuesday and asked if we were interested...
it fit what the dw wanted perfectly and has more features than we thought ! here is the first time they sold it and the seller took it in the shorts for a year of non-use... glad it found us !

Well tell cool thing is we talked pretty much the rest of the day about the Scepter.
She really liked it and it was the first coach that we have been in since we bought the Windsor a year ago that she had that same feeling walking into, it was perfect.
Guess I am sold on the idea of the bath and a half, having the shower in the back and the kitchen on the passenger side.

I do have to ask about the engine placement.
Because of the rear bath the motor was moved forward a few feet. It looks like getting to it has to be a bit harder to get to.
And the front dash is angled down in front. We keep or dash covered so if our dog gets up there it's protected.
Any feedback on those 2 small perceived issues?

Unlikely the engine has been moved in the chassis.
You own a Windsor now?

John,
Give me a call or shoot me a pm, I have a 2003 Scepter bath and 1/2. I'd be glad to answer any questions you have.
