School me on tag axle
I have been lurking for some time and joined awhile back, great info here. I'm looking at a 97 Holiday Rambler Vacationer 36ft. Ford V10 with a tag. I have never had a MH with a tag before. Any info on ride, handling, pro's and cons would be helpful. I will only keep it maybe 2 years before I get my dream DP. Thanks in advance.

Most likely, the chassis didn`t come from Ford to the mfg with a tag -- The mfg extended the frame & added the tag -- The tag will probably be made by a different mfg & the brakes & such will be different from OEM -- But, you should get a better ride & steering control because of wind -- Bill Willard

Don't know that specific chassis with tag... but in general, Tag = greater weight capacity and ride, but at a cost of $$ & loss of some basement storage.
