Searching for a new hydraulic fan motor

I have a 2001 Monaco Dynasty, Fan motor is leaking badly and I don't think just a seal replacement would be enough. Figure its best just to replace it. I've done some calling around and it turns out its $1100 Can and 15 weeks to arrive. anyone know where I could get one quicker or cheaper?
the part is a Sauer Sundstrand # 551101096170

Type in the part # of your pump and you will find dealers for it. It will probably be cheaper
and quicker than going through Monaco.

When I needed a new hydraulic pump I bought a new pump from

Hydraulic Fan Motors: nwrvsupply.com

for almost 1/2 the cost of a used one .

The pump was not listed on line , I called and they found or had one .
So don't go by what you see on the web site , give them a call .
I found them to be very cust friendly .

I assume your rig is down with a bad hydraulic leak. It might be worth the effort to remove the motor and take it to a hydraulic repair shop for evaluation. These motors are pretty simple and are used a a relatively light duty application. It might be repairable with new seals/O-rings.

Second that, Merk at Farwest recently provided a new fan motor for someone on this forum. I got my pump from him.

Call them first.

Exclamation Searching for a new Hydraulic Fan Motor

I'm having the same issue with my fan motor. I've done all the research, contacted all the North American suppliers and RV Graveyards with no luck!!

Yesterday I found the solution.

If you need a fan motor or any other Hydraulic pump, gear pump etc. call White House Products Ltd. in England...yes, England!! To call them dial 011 44 147 574 2500. Give them the Sauer Danfos serial number; mine was 551101303210 for my HR Navigator 2005. Main shaft seal spewing fluid all over the place. The people there are extremely helpful and easy to deal with. Don't believe all the disinformation out there about how difficult or how long it will take to get your part! I ordered my motor yesterday (Thursday) it will be here on Monday sent DHL Express. No 18 week wait times! No nonsense!

Here is the process: First, call them and give them your part number. They will give you their part number for your fan motor, mine was 5SM/41046SAU. Then go on the web site and register. You must register in order to make an online order. Once registration is complete they will send you an email with your username and password. Sign on and order your part by inserting their part number in the search bar and adding it to your basket. Make sure you insert a shipping address if it's different than your home address. Select your shipping method, then method of payment. Follow all the steps and you'll have your part shipped the next business day, arrival times depend on which shipping method you choose.

Everyone owning an older unit needs to know about this supplier and have their number on file.

White House Products Ltd. out of England; Google them! Calling from the USA or Canada dial 011 44 147 574 2500.

I hope this will put an end to the mystery of how to find and order these parts.

BTW, they also have seal kits available!

Good luck and happy travels!

Did you buy the Motor (Fan motor) or the Pump?

How much did it cost (parts and shipping to USA)?
