Selling Monaco- Selling advice

Hey Monaco Community,

I am selling my beloved 2005 Monaco Knight and would love some advice on how to sell it with a 2014 Honda CRV toad.

Check our RVtrader.com or rvt.com. That is where I bought my Monaco 2 years ago.

It's good advice too.

Consider having it freshly serviced, and CLEAN, inside, outside, underneath

Make sure all systems are working

Paperwork in order (title stuff, vehicle service HX etc)

Consider sending an oil sample to an outfit like Blackstone Labs to show a potential buyer the condition of the oil/engine?

Be ready and able to explain your asking price too.

Good luck with the sale.

Best advice...that's the first place everyone goes. Also, if you live in or near a big city, Craigslist has always done good for me with vehicles.

Bought mine from RVT.

I would suggest the clean up for sure and make sure you do not take photos with all your personal "stuff" laying all over the inside of the coach or a mess in the storage bay.
Make sure the photos are clear and good quality.
Not sure the wide angle lens is so great when it makes everything distorted and bent looking. Photos with the slides in and out.
Be honest about dings and minor issues.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

I would advertise it on the free classifieds here on IRV2 and on RVTrader.com. Put lots of pics on RVTrader. I would state in the ads that "I can only accept a direct transfer of funds between your bank and mine, NO EXCEPTIONS!" That's the only safe way to do it!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Write a good verbal description and have someone proof read it. Be sure to include recent repairs and updates. Then take lots (30+) of quality pictures with good lighting. Make the pictures in a logical order like a walk around the outside, then into the front and work your way back. Be sure to include the exact sub-model, engine size, tire dates, battery dates and if you have a maintenance log.

Like the others said, run ads on RVT.com, RVTrader.com, IRV2.com, eBay.com, and Craigslist. Watch out for scammers.
This will take some effort on your part, but if done well will pay off with a quick sell.
