Serviced At Speedco

My MH only had 11,000 when I bought it 3 weeks in California and then I drove it to Tennessee. She ran like a top. I decided I wanted to get her serviced and some on here suggested Speedco. There is one 10 miles from my house. I got a clean bill of health and according to the Techs there, I got a great deal. Needless to say I am one happy camper.......

Only thing is at Speedco they were out of Fuel Filters. (I am taking her back next week to have the fuel filter (s) replaced) Anyway they are saying that there are 2 fuel filters.

Speedco is going to install a FS1022 and FS19738 and I would like to carry spares of each. I found a spare from Napa for the FS1022 (Napa part #3405) However I can not find a Spare. I am pretty sure I will be able to buy a spare from Speedco for the FS19738 but I am just wondering why I can't find it even using cross reference on-line.
Can someone enlighten me on Diesel Fuel Filters for a 2001 330hp Cummins and what to expect in the future.... Thanks Lee

BTW the generator only had 33 hours on it.

Lee,

This Racor # may be a cross to your Fleetguard.

S3201T

Google it & see if it looks right.

Good idea to keep spares in the motorhome. If you need one while on the road, as you discovered, the nearest place might be out of stock.

Lee,

I am the one that suggested SpeedCo and glad it worked out for you. You can usually find Fleetguard filters at an International Truck Dealer and Cummins Crosspoint.

That's the one I see when I open the side door. Does it get replaced or is there a inner filter in there that gets replaced? Also I am guessing there is another filter on the engine...

Also thanks Bob for suggesting Speedco

Lee,

That filter has threads top & bottom. The bottom cup, either plastic or cast aluminum, spins onto the filter then the whole assembly spins onto the filter housing.
