Setting up Magnum remote 'SETUP'

Here's what I have setup with eight 6v GC2s.

Search @ 5W <
LBCO= 11.0 VDC
ApmpHrs = 800 < (actual is closer to 900)
Flooded
Charge rate 80% <
Vac Drop out 90vac

Anyone see something wrong or have better suggestions?

While I'm here, I saw the ME BMK add on. Does anyone have one and how do you like it?

OK, thanks Bill. This an all electric coach. Can help me understand why that would be necessary? Thanks!

Couple questions first.
Which remote do you have? (ME-RC, ME-ARC, ME-MR etc)
What magnum inverter/charger do you have?
What brand/type batteries do you have? Simply allowing flooded is not a best practice as every battery will have a different charge profile (ie 14.8v absorb charge for 2 hrs, float voltage of 13.2 . equalize of 15,5v etc)
80% means if you have a 100A charger the max it will allow to charge at is 80A. Again, depends on the batteries and charger.

As someone pointed out, You should setup the charge voltage per you battery manufacturer specs. You can do that by using the custom battery profile instead of the built in program. Normally charge rate is AMP/5 so in your case 900/5=180. Depending on your charges model, you should try to achieve this number.

Low bat cut out at 11v for flooded battery is way too low in my opinion. I would set it up around 12v or 12.1v for 50% discharge rate.

I have an Energy Star frig -- At times my Magnum pure sine wave could not find enough watts to turn on -- Called Magnum & tech support told me to torn the SEARCH to OFF -- I did & have had no problem since -- I`m sure not an Inverter guru, but their advice works for me -- Bill Willard

I would how to check, but I think my inverter is turned search off as mentiobed. But I leave the fridge on all the time (almost the same setup as yours). Turn the use maker off at night...it is a power hog

ME-RC, MS2812. Duracell CG2s, 215 AH @ 20hr (Wish they were Trojans) I forced an equalize today and it hit 16.1v. The other charging cycle voltages, look fine for the Duracell's, not so sure a 16.1v. if memory serves, Trojan says 15v.

I would agree, the problem with this ME-RC is I can only set 9.0, 10.0, 11.0, then up from there, 18.0, 20.0 and 22.0??? I would prefer something in the low 12s. I do have and AGS (without a configurable start or stop voltage, it's hard coded in, but it works 😁

Me thinks I need to upgrade to a ME ARC in order to use a BMK so it's looking more like $400 than $160 😫

If you buy it from an authorized dealer, they can send your controller out to be reprogrammed free of charge. Just pay shipping. Verify your build number with ME to make sure it can be upflashed.

Also, measure the run for the temperature monitor (attaches to the battery). The standard one was too short for mine. Ordered the longer one for $25ish
